The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is hosting its third series of public open houses on Tuesday, November 4th and Wednesday, November 5th to update the community on the I-794 Lake Interchange Study.

This is your chance to engage directly with WisDOT staff, review the defined alternatives—including Freeway Removal—and learn more about the upcoming Environmental Impact Statement process. This is a critical moment to show strong community interest in the freeway removal option, which prioritizes people, neighborhoods, and sustainable transportation over outdated highway infrastructure. Rethink 794 encourages all supporters to attend, ask questions, and share your vision for a better Milwaukee.
