Rethink 794 is citizen-led project made up of planners, architects, community leaders, and everyday residents from the City of Milwaukee working toward a future where Milwaukee can thrive. Our goal is to see this stretch of I-794 replaced with a people-focused, at-grade boulevard that reconnects the downtown and unlocks long-term social, environmental, and economic benefits for Milwaukee and the region. We know that transformational change isn't simple, but our community of volunteers is committed to an open and honest dialogue and imagining what's possible together.
