Throughout this Spring semester, Carolyn Esswein's University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seminar class has been envisioning what could happen if the elevated segment of I-794 downtown were removed. Architecture and urban planning students explore the long-term potential for development opportunities, public spaces, transit upgrades, and strong connections between Downtown and the Historic Third Ward.
