Walk & Roll 794 - Imagine What's Possible

Left picture is of Clybourn St. looking West as it exists today with cars and the freeway. The Right photo shows a rendering of the same area developed without the freeway including a bike lane, more people, and green infrastructure.

Join the Rethink 794 team for the first in a series of three “walk & rolls” along a segment of the I-794 corridor.

We'll meet at the front of Stone Creek - Factory Cafe, review our route and goals, then begin our walk and roll. The walk will be ~30 minutes, facilitated by members of our citizen advocate team. The route will end back inside of Stone Creek where will discuss our findings and opportunities for a reimagined corridor. Those that use wheelchairs, bicycles, or mobility devices are welcome.

On this first walk we'll also gather community data about how I-794 exists today. The information gathered will be summarized to make recommendations for the decisions about the future of I-794, including those that prioritize connection and safety for all users of the corridor.

When: Tuesday, November 18, @12pm-1pm

Where: Stone Creek - Factory Cafe, 422 N 5th St, Milwaukee, WI
